Showing Love in Your Homeschool | In Due Season Volume 1.0

We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this review or post, but all opinions are our own.

What if the middle of your homeschooling years could be as exciting as that first one?

In Due Season is a series for the long middle stretch before you. Beginnings are great, and planning for the end is satisfying, but the middle can be a long, winding, uncharted road. This series is full of weekly encouragement for the time in-between that anxious first day and the moment you walk your child down the aisle in their cap and gown.

Every Monday I will provide practical ideas that you can apply right now. We’ll look at simple shifts in school set up. I will offer challenging conversations about our homeschool mindset. This course was designed to help you have the very best homeschooling year ever, no matter where you are in your homeschool experience. Sign up for our email today so you don’t miss the one post that could change your year.

My hearts’ desire is that you never lose sight of the end of the road in your homeschool journey. We want to help ensure a strong finish by helping you live well in the middle.

“Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up” Galatians 6:9, ESV.

The full course with study guide questions will be available for purchase in the future. The truth is, I wanted you to have it first. I’ve broken it up into a smaller devotional series. Every Monday I will add a post highlighting areas where we have learned important lessons over the last 13 years of home schooling. I have only included the the top 5 lessons that have changed the way I homeschool for the better. We have truly learned to love our children through our school time, even though we still face plenty of challenges along the way.

Will this be a valuable study for you? I am sure it will.

Have you struggled with comparison? I share personal stories that I am sure you will see yourself in.

Do you know why you homeschool? We talk about how knowing “why” you do something will help you stay the course through difficult times, as well as helping you to make critical changes. Do you want to learn more about flexibility, the importance of your influence and the relevance of community? They are vitally connected to homeschooling your family.

Please, invite a Mom or a family you know that is homeschooling. Forward a copy and share it with a friend at church. Go get some coffee and your favorite chair. Grab a quiet corner, a pen and spend some intentional time looking at ways to grow stronger as a homeschool family. I hope you are encouraged as we make this year your very best ever.

Over the next few weeks we will talk about distractions; especially how we can focus on our children as individuals.

I originally developed this course for the member site SchoolhouseTeachers.com. I have enjoyed sharing it with their members and have had great feedback from them. If you are interested in online classes for your kids they have  hundreds of other courses offered for all age ranges. I encourage you to become a schoolhouse member.
